If Arsenal were to Win the Premier League...

This is a preview to what you can expect to see, read or listen to from certain sources (not necessarily the ones I've mentioned)  in the highly unlikely (or impossible) scenario that Arsenal win the Premier League this season or actually any season for that matter.

So first lets go to a certain newspaper. Here is an extract from an article that I hear they have already prepared a rough draft of, in case Arsenal do win.
"One of the most entertaining Premier League seasons in recent times has a winner and Arsenal have managed to end a six year wait after their fellow title contenders made it easy for them by dropping points at crucial junctures. While the Gunners celebrate, it is also important to put this victory in perspective. Arsenal must consider themselves lucky that they have the crown. Fellow contenders not playing to potential and inconsistent refereeing definitely helped Arsenal's cause and in general it is also fair to say that the overall standard of football this past season has been below par. It is therefore not a time to celebrate the victory of sublime attacking football, but a time to reflect on the decline of the sport in this country. How can a team win the League with three different, substandard goalkeepers and a defense that leaked goals?
It is this  point we need to focus on now. Arsenal's victory has just gone on to prove that the biggest prize in English football is not that difficult to win after all." If that did not mean anything to you, well I'm afraid that is a sample of what you will see. There will then be some flowery words that mean nothing again before the conclusion which will go something like, "Can Arsenal think of winning the league next season? Certainly not."

In summary there will also be a "Four things we learned from the Premier League this season" section, as always capturing insightful snippets from the season that no one, absolutely no one would have noticed.

1. Manchester United did not win the Premier League.
2. Chelsea did not win the Premier League.
3. Chelsea were not able to defend the League title.
4. Arsenal won the Premier League after 6 years.

There are no prizes for guessing which newspaper I'm referring to.

Later on the same night we will witness the season review on a certain TV channel.
GL - "Arsenal have finally ended their trophy drought. Alan, your thoughts?"
AH - "I don't see them winning the League next season. They are such a good team to watch, but in some games you just get the feeling that they're going to throw it away."
GL - "But Alan, they've won the League today. Don't you think they have played really well?"
AH - "It's difficult to say. Their attacking play was sometimes just brilliant to watch. There's still a lot of work to be done on the defensive side. They are going to be the biggest challengers for the title next season, but I still think Arsenal might come up short."
GL - "Don't you still think that Arsene Wenger deserves some credit for having developed this team from scratch, considering a lot of the other teams have spent over the odds?"
AH - "Certainly. Wenger is one of the best managers in the world. He has proved his critics wrong, although its been a long time coming. But Arsenal are just lacking in a few areas, which is why I consider Man Utd to be top contenders for the title next year."
GL gives up, and ends the show with a recap video of the whole season, emphasizing Chelsea's dip in form and Manchester United's 'unlucky' moments.

Andy Gray will also probably share his views on Arsenal's trophy win but he won't be heard as he prefers  tucking the microphone into you know where. So that is that, until someone can find the Keys to get it out.
